A Big Liar

Before converting, my life was a great big lie.

Lying was so easy for me that it seemed to be in my blood!

Many times they weren’t even necessary, but they were always present… a little lie here, another lie there… Lying was so natural for me - looking back I feel ashamed.

In reality, only after my conversion did I perceive how harmful this is and what’s worse is that I wasn’t the only one…

Nowadays, lying is the most normal thing.

Lots of people think: “Who doesn’t lie?!”

Well that’s exactly where the true Christian is revealed and makes the difference.

There will always be situations in which lying will seem like the best solution or the easy way out and it’s during these moments that we demonstrate who we really are…

How about you?

Who are you?

One more liar in the crowd?

Look at what a marvelous word for us to delight in!!!

“Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who act faithfully are His delight." Proverbs 12:22

  1. that made two of us miss!...one or either way liers will be revealed....and its true that it is like something normal to people...there was this time when our house phone rang and my dad knew the phone call was for him...he tried to tell me to tell whoever is calling him..that his not home...so i said to myself NO! you cant do that...i fear God more than i fear my dad...!so i simply let the phone rang and no one picked it up..

  3. Lies might seem a way out in one situation, but will simply grow into a bigger lie - one lie after the other another once it s revealed. Better be truthful and suffer the consequence rather than live a lie.
