Task #12 for Becoming a Lovelier Woman

I was thinking about beauty and today we are going to discuss a subject that will make some of you cry but it will be well worth it (don’t despair! rs.)

Very often we think that in order to change something in our appearance for the better we’ll have to do something major, make lots of efforts and spend rivers of money- but that’s not true.

I remember one day Cris was looking at me in a funny way and it wasn’t long before I discovered the reason why…

“Can I do your eyebrows?” the question came out of nowhere.

I had never done them before because at the time the “Malu Mader” style was in, remember that?

And so there I went and I didn’t regret it!

It took a while because I kept crying due to the tweezers but the final result was a transformation!!!

My face appeared more gentle and softer, girls, I loved it!!!

It’s been many years now and I still groom them and now it’s your turn…
Task #12 for Becoming a Lovelier Woman
“If you’ve never had your eyebrows done, you will find a professional and get them done.”

No more hairy harry eyebrows girls!

I would like to ask you, if possible, to take a before and after photo and post them on my Facebook page.
I am certain that you will love your new brows and it will be a true transformation.

I will post the best ones here on my blog for all to see, how about it?!

Task #11 for Becoming a Lovelier Woman

“Fernanda, say something! Anything! Come on, think!!! What kind of silence is this?!” I thought to myself while trying to find something to talk about.

I was with all of my friends when suddenly I found myself alone with someone I wasn’t close to at all…

With nothing to talk about and terribly uncomfortable, I decided to keep quiet (something that isn’t natural in me.)

I was remembering that day and compared it to our relationship with God.

When we are intimate with God, words seem to be endless; it’s like when two friends meet and conversation is the last thing that goes lacking!

We should all have that same relationship in which we feel so comfortable in our God’s presence that words flow, our prayers are constant and our intimacy with Him grows.
Seeking to reach that level of closeness with God, we arrive at our next task…

Task #11 for Becoming  a Lovelier Woman

“Each week we are going to set aside some time only to speak, seek and dance in the presence of God!”

That’s it! We are going to seek that closeness, only you and Him! Not depending on others, no intermediaries.

Let’s find a moment in which we can lock ourselves in our rooms and speak freely with Him.

Let’s talk about our happiness, worries, things we need to change, something He has revealed to us, let’s praise and dance for Him!

In reality, I feel like doing that right now!

Ohhhh What Days!!!

This fast was quite an eye opener wasn’t it?

I was filled with joy every day as I read so many marvelous testimonies of people being baptized with the Holy Spirit and others being renewed.
I hope that it has also been “Oh what days” for you as well.

And what about the song? Girls, what a beautiful song, I never get tired of hearing it. My Itunes counter marks that I’ve heard it 332 times and counting!!!! hehehe

The first time I heard the song I even cried due to its beauty. In one of our radio programs here in London a guy wrote…” This song is soo beautiful that it sucks out all of the entertainment from my mind!” Hehehehe, I thought it was very funny and isn’t it true?!

And do you know what? I even forgot how to turn on the television!!!! Heheheh

This week I invite you to reread our task, let’s go back to the first one and read all of them once again. Once we’ve done that we will pick up where we left off; therefore, during this week I will be posting, but not the continuation of the dare just yet, okay?!

A big kiss for you all!

Task #10 for Becoming a Lovelier Woman

Even while new in the church, I really liked listening to the radio program “Bishop Macedo’s Friendly Word.”
Like I’ve mentioned in the past, I used to live in Miami and a relative would send us various cassettes containing the radio messages once a month (you can see how long ago that was!!!lol)
Folks, my mother-in-law and I treasured those cassettes so much that we got to the point of being zealous of them, can you believe it?!!!
If someone borrowed one of them to listen to and didn’t return them to us, then beware!!! Lol
Nowadays with so much technology, everyone can have access to these messages. It’s so different from back in the days, right?!
Let’s use this tool that is the internet to feed our soul and best of all is that it doesn’t matter where you are!
You no longer have to bother a relative in Brazil to record and send them to you; you don’t even have to tune in to the radio at a certain time!
You can access these messages any time you want!
The other day I was listening to a message that spoke very strongly to me; in fact, I will be talking about this on Task #11.
So, here goes our next task…
Task #10 for Becoming a Lovelier Woman
“From now on you will listen to at least two of Bishop Macedo’s messages a week.”
Tips:
·       If you can listen to one message per day, even better!
·       If you own a MP3 or iPod then you can record the messages every week and listen to them during your commute to work. It’s a wonderful way to get the most out of your time.
·       Generally, I like to listen to the messages when I’m working on the computer.
·       Do you know your day to iron clothes? Instead of watching TV, listen to the messages.
·       Don’t do it just to fulfill a task. When the message is over think about what God was trying to tell you.
·       I don’t recommend that you listen to one message after another otherwise, you won’t grasp anything. Try to listen and meditate on what you are hearing.
Click here to access Bishop Macedo’s Podcasts where you will be able to access his messages each week.
If you prefer to listen to his messages on the radio then you can tune in to Rede Aleluia.
