The balloons...

There was an old man who was always in the same children's leisure square selling balloons.

He was a great salesperson, of course, his family depended on him ...

Every day on arrival at the square, he would
let out a few balloons to the wind, this way, attracting his little customers.

Once there was a boy sitting down on one of the benches, watching this man and the balloons.

His favorite one was the red balloon, but the man let the yellow fly, then the white, the green, but did not let go of the red ...

The boy was watching each one of them flying in the sky, but one thing bothered him, the man would not release the red balloon.

Then approached the seller and asked him:

"- Sir, if you loose the red balloon, would it rise as much as others?"

The old man smiled understandingly, broke the line that was holding the red balloon and as it rose in the air, he said:

"- It's not the color, son, is what's inside that makes it rise. "

  1. I understood that what counts for God is what we have inside, the things that a man does not pay attention, our inner being, and our thoughts. It is like judging the book for its cover. As women we know how important it is to take care of our appearance, than it is not wrong if we pay attention and care about it, but the most important is how our heart and thoughts have been nourished. It is like putting water in a dirt cup. The water before being inside of the cup was clean, pure, now it is dirt, not worth to be drunken. First we need to clean the cup (heart and mind), and then pour out the water (The Holy Spirit, the word of God).

  2. In the same way, God looks to our heart not to our appearance; The inside is what really counts. Thanks for reminding us of that, Mrs. Nanda

  3. This is so simple, but so effective. It is not our appearance, title or anything superficial that makes us great or small, or that counts for anything. It is our hearts that count. Just as the air or helium in the balloon causes it to rise, it is the type of heart we have that draws us closer to God...

  4. Loved it! Simple as it is, what make us to be on top of whatever situation or problem or difficulties, or even dreams we want to achieve what will takes over there is what is inside of us, as the exterior are just colors.

  5. This is powerfull and it applies to our lives as well. The outward appearance has no value but the inside speaks more of a person.

  6. No One can see the inside it is what people say! But if we are rising is it difficult to see what is inside of us?

  7. It's not the situation or our background or our condition or anything superficial or on the outside. none of that matters. What's important is that we are strong-hearted and good-willed, Servants of God, then we will rise high.

  10. I really enjoyed this post. Doesn't matter how we are outside, what it really matter is the inner side. How we are before God. And if He is inside of us we will rise, for sure!

  11. True, What matters the most to God is by what we are in the inside not by we are from the outside.

    Thanks Mrs. Nanda
    God Bless you Much! :-)

  12. Its whats inside that makes it rise. With God it means nothing the outer apperance. God knows our inside person all our weekness, strenghs and problems.

  13. So simple..yet so strong. No age no race, no sex, no nothing can stop a person from rising to the top. If a person believe and is determined what can stop him. The word of God said. "If God is with you, who can be against you"....

  15. The strenth of our hands will not do much for us but the spirit of the One inside of us is what differentiates us from others. I will strive to protect and nurture what inside of me, SO I CAN RISE!!!

  17. This message is very strong our apperance can not bring us closure to God but what is inside of us will call the attention of God.

  18. I liked this message because it made me understand that our inner self is wayyy more important than how we look and that god is the only person that we should look for. :)

  19. This is powerful. It is way more important what we have on the inside than what we look like on the outside. It's like the saying never judge a book by it's cover.

  20. This is true! Pure and innocent hearts will accomplish way more than filthy ones...

  21. Very simply put, it is not what we look like on the outside, but what we do with who we are on the inside. God can see the depths of our hearts and He and His love can cause us to rise.

  22. This is so powerful Mrs Nanda , because what really makes a difference is what is inside , if God is inside of us no matter who we are , He just rise us!

  23. I'm a simple person, and so i like simple things- This was very nice.straight to the point. When we're full of wrong things-grudges,malice, envy etc.... we will never rise, only when we empty ourselves and allow what is good to fill us we most certainly will

  24. I understood exactly the message of this story...
God only cares about our inside, the colour never matters!
