Task #37 for Becoming a Lovelier Woman

Many times I didn’t know how to act. I didn’t know what to say. I didn’t know what to think.

I felt so lost, without direction.

My friends would advise me one thing, my parents another.  Each one had their own opinion.

How can someone manage to live like that, without direction?! It’s horrible!

Today with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I see everything so clearly…

When I don’t know how to act, speak or think- I pray. I ask Him for guidance.

With that I feel much more confident. I know that the answer will come.

I observe this trait in women that I find beautiful. They are women of prayer.

Their guidance comes from the Holy Spirit, and not from the opinion of one or another. Of course there are people that are used to guide us but through our prayer come peace and the certainty that the answer will come.

Task #37 for Becoming a Lovelier Woman

“Let’s be women of prayer. Praying isn’t a religious ritual. Praying isn’t reading a sheet. Praying is talking to God, as if we were seeing Him right in front of us and most importantly… believe that he listens and responds!

“In my distress I called to the LORD; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears.” Psalms 18:06

  1. When I had no direction on something, it is usually because I was undecided about it and unsure of what to do.

But one day I learnt that this is not good, Now, when I am not totally sure about something, I pray, I think of what God would do, and what He would be pleased with. I tell God my smallest thoughts, ideas and battles, because I need Him to guide me. I have seen a big difference in the outcome of my decisions and choices, as they have been directed by God!

I remember one day i was very hurt but I didn't want people to see that m hurt, that day I set down with God I told Him how I was feeling, since then I felt peace. M one person who is weak in express my feelings but with God I do almost everyday when m happy I talk to him when m sad he knows because I tell Him. I love praying than tell people my problems. I advice everyone to do that because it works for me. i love it
