Action!

“It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest.” Proverbs 6:7

These verses yell out to me. Action! Initiative!

How many of us can say that we are people that take actions without needing someone to tell us what to do?

At work, do you do only what you are told?

In school, do you do only what you are asked?

While home, do you only do things when your mother tells you to?

Do you ever take initiative?

And you still complain that nothing happens, that you don’t conquer?

A person that takes action, that takes initiative, that seeks, that thinks… She flees!

How about you? Where’s your limit?

  1. All talk no action. This is a common saying between the youths today and its manifested in most people's life today. They speak allot but never take action to change their lives. Truth be told I experienced the same thing until I changed now it's more action, less talk and I have to say its blessing my life.

  2. Like there's a saying actions speaks louder than words. Sometimes it get really annoying when your going through a problem and all you do is just complain. One thing that people don't realise that complaining just calms you down for a while but it does not solve the problem. So the only way to solve that problem is to take action! Even if its a little step at least your doing something.

  3. Honestly, the saying ‘it’s easier said than done’ is so true! We are so quick to say something but to actually do is the hard part. But the difference between the ‘doer’ and the ‘sayer’ is that God heeds those who do rather than say, this is because God is a God of reaction when we act He acts. This is probably why many seem to get frustrated as to why their lives never change or they never receive what they are asking for... Because their all talk, and NO action!
