Task #23 for Becoming a Lovelier Woman

Ah, I don’t know…

Do you think so?

Um, will I be able to do it?

Gosh, who am I?

These are only a few common phrases that reveal a flaw that makes us lose a great portion of our beauty…

Insecurities.

An insecure woman isn’t attractive to God nor is she attractive to a man.

Did you know that if we are insecure, we are untrustworthy?

Think with me…

God inspires you to do something, but then insecurities that take hold of you come along and impede you from following that direction.

But if the opposite happens, then you overcome and you can be even more used.

The vast majority of men can’t stand insecure women. They might even be beautiful but insecurity takes away all of their beauty.

Men even start running away from them! Insecurity makes them “sticky.” Yuck!

Now for the confident woman the opposite applies. She is attractive in God’s eyes and in the eyes of man as well.

Task # 23 for Becoming a Lovelier Woman
“Be on the look out for things that make you insecure or that bring forth insecurities because many times we don’t even notice these things.
But we can’t stop there, for identifying isn’t enough to solve the problem-you need to take action. You must go against these insecurities and take contrary action in order to defy and destroy these horrible insecurities. “

  1. Wow! I never thought that insecurities can makes us untrustworthy, but I agree!

This reminds me of the story in the Bible when the people hid their talents. They made excuses thinking their Master would understand. Their excuses were just their insecurities and because of this, they lost out greatly!

  2. I think like doubts insecurities come to everyone but the same that we were taught with the doubts, that is to doubt the doubt we should doubt the insecurity so for example when we think "oh, but am I ready to do this" we should think but why can't i be ready for this, God wouldn't have put the dream there if it wasn't reachable. I remember hearing in a service once that goals come into our head for a reason - because we can reach them and ever since it's just left its mark there. I can say that i have a LOT of insecurities, i'm always thinking "can i do this", "oh my gosh I don't know what i'm doing" etc etc but i'm going to really try and work on silencing them the way I learnt to silence doubt, I know it's going to be hard but I don't want God to look at me and see me as someone unattractive and untrusting of Him.Thank you for this task Mrs Nanda.

  3. As female's we tend to always have to fight against any insecurities that we have, I learn to overcome my insecurities by believing in myself even if it feels like everybody doesn't. & it's true no one who is insecure comes across attractive. I know this task is going to help me.
