Task #36 for Becoming a Lovelier Woman

The description for this photo in the Bishop’s blog is “The love of my life.”

Yesterday I promised that I would share a tip from Mrs. Ester with you and I would also like to say that this tip is something I greatly admire in her.

At first glance, it may not be something that you would think adds to a woman’s beauty but if you know someone who possesses this quality or behaves this way, you will agree that this really does beautify and makes us appreciate that person even more.

She is affectionate! Towards her husband, to wards her children, towards her friends, etc.

Some women are very cold and incapable of having an affectionate gesture, especially towards their husbands. Not even a touch, nothing.

Affection can also be shown in our way of speaking.

Think about someone who treats you this way, with affection and tell me that she isn’t even more beautiful in your eyes?

This can also be found as a characteristic in a specific population. I always hear Brazilians that live here in England complaining about British people and their cold ways. In the same way I have also heard many foreigners speak about Brazilians in a very pleasant way. According to them, Brazilians are very warm and affectionate.

And if you think that men are cold and they couldn’t care less about this, think again!

Husbands, boyfriends, sons and daughters, appreciate an affectionate woman a lot.

Now does that mean that you are going to go around the streets hugging everyone? No!

Task #36 for Becoming a Lovelier Woman

“Observe your attitudes towards your husband, for example. Are you affectionate toward him? How about your children? Your parents? Try observing an affectionate person that you admire and simply copy a few gestures that you appreciate. I do that…”

  1. One Thing I have learnt is that being affectionate is the only way to show people around you that you care in that way they would in return love, care and respect you. Being affectionate is about doing little things that sometimes people may not even recognise straight away.

  2. When you see someone being affectionate towards people, you always want to be around that person and learn more about her.
